Director of Digital Banking Services
Opportunity Overview
As the Digital Banking Services Director for Banner Bank you will lead the product operations and client support functions for the Bank's digital banking and ATM/Debit Card products and services. You will lead a team of more than 10 professionals in delivering industry-leading service levels for product implementations and ongoing support.
As the Digital Banking Services Director with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:
• Oversee the daily operations of all Digital Banking Services' department functions and develop the strategic direction for functional areas of responsibility
• Support business initiatives by leading the tactical deployment of any and all initiatives related to digital banking and ATM/Debit Card products and services
• Analyze operations on a continual basis by obtaining and reviewing data and internal/external client feedback on product delivery and operations
• Drive business, financial, and client experience results for new and existing products; recommend modifications to improve results
• Coordinate digital banking and ATM/Debit Card delivery channels to create an efficient, functional and user friendly digital/card experience for Bank's clients
• Assist Digital Banking Product Management and Senior Management in the development and implementation of new digital banking and ATM/Debit Card products and services
• Direct the hiring, development, retention and performance of employees
Travel: Overnight travel as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Lean Certification; PMI – Agile Certified; PMP; CCPSP; or AAP – Accredited ACH Professional ; or DRMI preferred
Experience
• 8 or more years of experience in a centralized operations environment preferably in a financial institution required
• 8 or more years of management/leadership experience, preferably in a financial institution centralized operations environment required
• Financial institution core system administration, online/mobile banking system administration, project management, operational risk management, and/or ATM/Debit Card processing experience in a management capacity preferred
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of retail banking, operations and related technology. Knowledge of banking and regulatory requirements appropriate to the position
• Demonstrate ability to motivate and inspire employees to achieve performance objectives
• Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to resolve complex issues independently. Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and strategic planning
• Experience assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with the position's business objectives and activities
• Proven knowledge of the values and practices that align client needs and satisfaction as primary considerations for all business decisions, and the ability to leverage that information in creating operationally efficient client-focused experiences and solutions
