Job Purpose:
"Partners with Commercial Relationship Managers to manage new credit proposals and renewals. The Portfolio Manager assists in the assessment of risk and recommending of credit structures and provides analytical and credit oversight for the underwriting of the portfolio. Proactively manages the portfolio by identifying trends and alerting management to changes in portfolio conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities
34% "Business Execution which includes:
• Partnering with Commercial Relationship Managers in meeting with current and prospective clients to identify opportunities that reflect their goals and strategies
• Collaborating with Relationship Manager as part of the ""team"" to finalize credit package terms and documentation on transactions.
• Partnering with Relationship Manager to meet individual and team production goals. Has lending authority up to X ($ to be determined).

33% "Customer Knowledge which includes:
• Identifiying customers' financial constraints, anticipated concerns and objectives
• Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of customer's business from top to bottom
• Discussing borrowers' organization and key management

33% "Portfolio Management:
• Collaborating with Relationship Manager to priortize new credit requests, renewals and reviews.
• Works with and provides oversight to the Credit Analysts on the underwriting for the approval of credit requests.
• Maintains perspective on business priorities and adjusts work accordingly
• Monitors overall portfolio performance "

Bachelors

Masters
Experience Required:
4-6 years
Experience Preferred:
6-8 years
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems
Possesses an understanding of the current business environment. Ability to take initiative using problem solving skills. Proficient analytical and credit underwriting skills. Goal and production oriented. Strong relationship building skills.
