JLL is currently seeking an Analyst to join the Investment Sales team in New York. The Group provides investment sales, advisory, and capital market services to institutional investors, including private equity firms, insurance companies, family offices, and real estate investment trusts.
Responsibilities:
• Build and update ARGUS models, as well as, perform complex financial analysis, including cash flow projections, valuation, and sensitivity analysis.
• Underwrite potential office, retail, industrial, and multifamily investments, for both income-producing assets and development opportunities.
• The ability to perform research and the ability to gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data, for input into project specific deliverables.
• Assist with preparation broker opinion of values, pitches, and offering memorandums.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a strong academic record.
• Strong financial/analytical skills – including proficiency in ARGUS and Excel. Candidates need to have a solid understanding on fundamental financial and real estate concepts such as NPV, IRR and return on cost.
◦ Familiarity with lease documents and property budgets.
• 1-3 years of real estate experience in capital markets, acquisitions, or asset management role.
• The ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate it into strategic deliverables.
◦ Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software is required.
◦ Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and effectively manage time and workload.
◦ A desire to work within a collaborative, driven, and team centric professional environment.
