Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate to join its Operations Transformation service line and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities.

At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Provide communications support to include, but not limited to: agendas, notes, status updates, briefings, and memorandum. Develop communications to stakeholders with clear direction and guidance on implementation of changes resulting from assessment and analysis activities.
• Develop and maintain documents required to communicate policy, regulations, program status, best practices, standard operating procedures, and processes.
• Support the development of Client’s annual communications plan.
• Assist with the development and implementation of a stakeholder outreach plan.
• Support client in the response to standard and ad hoc data requests.
• Create reports to meet stakeholder needs, including PowerPoint briefings under quick turnaround timeframes.
• Monitor and evaluate information requests and responses.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses on uniform-related topics as needed.
• Assist client with all phases of Lab and Wear testing, to include but not limited to: distribute field wear test directions and surveys, consolidation of test results, assess results and assist with report generation for Client’s recommendation.
• Assist with facilitating the First Article Testing associated with new uniform items.
• Work and interact with client leadership on a daily basis.
• Support the development of directives and other policy documents.
• Support the development of the Uniform Handbook.
• Assist with the development of strategic planning documents.
• Support the Business Process Team with business process improvement tasks, including process mapping, SOPs, and risk management.
• Assist with organizational change management activities.
• Support the development of the Annual Uniform Allowance Schedule.
• Support other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
• Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
• Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Qualifications
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a multi-tasking and fast-paced environment
• Strong research, analytical, and conceptual skills and an ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
• Excellent work ethic, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Professional demeanor.
• Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
• U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
• Travel may be required.
• Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
• Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
• Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
