The Large Group Sales Executive, Employee Benefits will be a key member of the Fidelity Health Group’s sales organization, reporting directly to the Vice President, Sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for marketing/selling Fidelity’s benefits marketplace solution to mid-market clients.
Locations: East Coast: Boston or NYC and West Coast: Southern California or TX
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of experience in employee benefits sales (mid-market preferred)
• Valid Health and Life insurance license
• Bachelor’s degree required
• CEBS Designation preferred
The Skills You Bring
• Your deep understanding of health and other employee benefits insurance products
• Your proven track record of outstanding sales results
• Your comprehensive understanding of employee benefits compliance and regulatory requirements
• Underwriting knowledge and strong negotiating skills
• Your understanding of health/ancillary benefits market trends
• Your demonstrated experience in leading employee benefits sales meetings and following a structure sales process
• A solid understanding of information technology used to provide employee benefits solutions (experience/understanding online enrollment technology, decision support tools and integration with Payroll services
• Your ability to define objectives and produce deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Your strong team skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Your ability to consistently meet high performance standards including timely completion of tasks, project management, field sales support, and customer interaction
The Value You Deliver
• Developing your own prospects and leads from professional networking
• Leveraging Fidelity’s existing client relationships to drive business growth
• Marketing and selling FHM’s benefits platform to new logos and existing Fidelity clients
• Identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients
• Demonstrating Fidelity’s Health Marketplace platform/product solution to prospective clients via both in-person and web-based meetings
• Staying up-to-date on employee benefits compliance requirements
• Working with the Fidelity Health Marketplace operations/implementation team(s) to ensure a smooth onboarding and post-enrollment process for clients
