JOB INFORMATION
Leads overall strategy, implementation and workflow of the video and still photography digital asset management (DAM) system
for Fannie Mae's Communications & Marketing Services. Applies strategic thinking, creativity, best practices, and problem
solving to highly significant matters. Should be comfortable operating in a matrixed reporting structure.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
• Assign appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights.
• Manage the DAM system and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system. Partner with
• technology to stay ahead of platform and capacity needs. Deploy best practices for archive and back up.
• Act as primary liaison between Fannie Mae and its photography and video production vendors with regard to asset deliverables.
• Create a taxonomy and work-flow that end-users can follow with ease.
• Design a b-roll library that fits with Fannie Mae?s brand and marketing vision, and critical story topics. Always be on the
• look-out for a great shot or an opportunity to reuse existing assets.
• Train and support all DAM users on a daily basis.
• Facilitate retrieval of previously cataloged video and image files. Archive assets as necessary.
• Maintain accurate procedures and records for the system.
• Generate asset usage reports.
• Keep informed of latest DAM technology trends and innovations.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• 4+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, & Lightroom
• Possess critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
• Be process oriented
• Be customer/client focused
• Must be methodical and flexible
• Actual video production experience is a plus
• Must love working with data and metadata
