The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution, management, reporting and optimization of the email marketing channel to drive new client engagement and retention. The ideal candidate has a data-driven analytical mindset, a passion for understanding the customer journey and hands-on experience with email marketing.
Major Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute marketing email campaigns designed to drive deeper customer relationships and engagement Develop and execute automated email campaigns and real-time messaging designed to align with stakeholder needs and requirements Work closely and effectively with cross-functional teams to efficiently and effectively bring new programs to fruition. Collaborate with creative team on design, copy and email messaging; become a brand champion across all communications Conduct analysis of email communications landscape, including industry competition and best practices; ideate and present opportunities for testing and learning Ensure all programs have established reporting, KPIs and connection to business impact Manage campaign calendar and communicate with internal stakeholders regarding timing, scope, and costs Manage day-to-day vendor contact for matters related to email service provider. Oversee ongoing risk management, SLA adherence and vendor performance
Qualifications
Requirements:
• 5+ years of email marketing experience, preferably with testing and automation experience.
• Financial Services experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of at least one top-tier email service provider like Responsys/Oracle, Epsilon/Harmony or Exact Target/Salesforce.
• Working knowledge of HTML, real time messaging protocols and API calls required.
• Strong knowledge of mobile optimization and best practice
• Be a champion for the customer experience
• Experience with A/B, multivariate testing and test and learn strategies.
• Strong understanding of quantitative data analysis and an analytical mindset strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques
