The Enablement Marketing team is seeking a Senior Associate to develop and execute marketing programs that increase awareness of Discover Global Network and grow acceptance across the payments landscape including: acquirers, gateways, shopping carts, app developers and other technology partners who enable traditional and digital transactions. This individual will work across the broader Global Marketing organization to measure current perceptions of the brand and strengthen the overall acceptance value proposition. They will be responsible for building, managing and updating all sales support tools for Payment Providers including, acquirers, payment facilitators, gateways, terminal manufactures/resellers, and major merchants.. This individual will also assist in the strategy and execution to drive awareness about the value of Discover acceptance to payment enablers. Responsibilities:
• Manage analytic and research efforts to understand current perceptions of Discover Global Network and enhance the value proposition specifically tailored for Digital Payment enablers.
• Lead the outreach strategy to raise awareness of Discover Global Network to payment partners including through events, targeted outreach campaigns and engagement programs.
• Collaborate with business partners to develop and implement Marketing campaigns aimed at growing awareness of Discover Global Network.
• Evaluate and communicate program and campaign results to internal and external business partners, communicating key findings and making recommendations and modifications accordingly.
• Manage updates to our website including public and private content.
• Manage and maintain the Advanced Payment Portal for external facing payment providers to ensure easy access to integration specifications or enablement support.
• Manage the execution and administration of all sales support tools such as event brochures, sales slicks, client presentations and value claims. Ensure materials and updates are promptly available in Brand Lab. Liaise with Product Marketing on Operations to incorporate any necessary technical specifications or product components into sales materials.
• Assume other Marketing responsibilities as needed or as priorities expand.
• Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and practices #LI-BP1
Skills Required:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of related Marketing experience
• Comfortable working through new situations with no established frameworks or methodologies
• Excellent client focus, ability to frame proposals with client motivations in mind
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills including ability to influence others, comfortable presenting to clients and Senior Management
• Established knowledge of the payments industry & experience in digital payments a plus
• Marketing experience in Payments Services/Financial Services industry a plus
