Business Overview:
As part of Global Markets Operations, the US Treasury Forecasting and Liquidity Monitoring (TFLM) Team is responsible for monitoring intraday liquidity usage and for forecasting end of day balances for NY ALM Treasury. The US team was created in Q4 2017, and works closely with NY ALM Treasury and our global TFLM colleagues.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately calculate end of day forecasts for various BNP Paribas entities and communicate those forecasts to ALM Treasury at agreed upon intervals.
• Investigate forecasting irregularities with the front/middle/back office responsible for the affected forecast(s).
• Follow the evolution of the forecast throughout the day and ensure alignment with actual/real balances. Investigate any irregularities.
• Monitor Intraday Liquidity usage and provide detailed analysis to ALM Treasury as required to ensure efficient use of capital intraday.
• Monitor exceptional cash flows and ensure settlement prior to agree upon cut off times.
• Participate in TFLM related projects as needed to ensure the US TFLM team achieves expected milestones.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing for IT releases relating to TFLM systems.
• Assist business analysts in developing User Specification / Functional Requirements documentation.
• Develop and document daily operational procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience with ALM Treasury
• Working knowledge of SWIFT
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong:

◦ Communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
• Strong work ethic and an ability to work autonomously
• Very detail oriented
