The Bilingual Senior Relationship Banker is responsible for building, expanding, and retaining client relationships. Provide financial solutions to clients by assessing their needs and offering products/services to accomplish their goals. Expected to achieve and/or exceed established sales and referral goals and are rewarded for success with bonuses/incentives. Assist clients with account service and maintenance requests, teller transactions, problem resolution, and other transactional needs. Expected to consistently meet and exceed clients’ and prospects’ expectations.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Meets with individual and small business clients to complete full assessments of their financial needs; consultatively sells a full range of retail products such as deposit accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet or exceed established individual sales goals and to support overall banking center sales objectives. Opens new deposit accounts and originates and closes consumer and small business loans. Educates new and existing clients about bank services that provide additional convenience such as online banking, BillPay, E-Statements, and mobile and ATM deposit capabilities.
2. Resolves a variety of simple to complex client problems while ensuring the highest level of client experience and satisfaction. Processes requests for funds transfers, account styling changes, researches account balance discrepancies, assists clients with unauthorized transaction claims and performs account research for clients, often under difficult and/or stressful circumstances. Uses available resources for problem resolution, which may involve analysis of information received from other internal BOk departments. Must be knowledgeable of and able to navigate through deposit and teller automation applications. Provide clients guidance and navigation through various delivery channels.
3. Markets consumer banking products/services to clients through techniques such as outbound calls, making product recommendations during banking center service and teller transactions, business visits, group presentations, and utilization of prospect/lead lists. Develops/maintains a referral network through the use of prospect tools and pending files. Researches to find out what banking product the prospect uses, what financial service needs he/she has, and advises the client on financial solutions; follows up with the prospect.
4. Provides a variety of teller transactions for clients while seeking opportunities to develop relationships and identify sales opportunities.
5. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and refers clients and prospects to the BOSC Investment Center, BOk Mortgage, Branch Business Banking, Treasury Services, Trust, Business/Commercial Banking, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
• Strong knowledge of branch banking and/or retail sales operations
• Advanced knowledge of consumer lending and regulatory requirements (full technical knowledge of core branch banking products and working knowledge of non-core products such as: mortgage, investment, business banking)
• Excellent sales skills both in person and via telephone
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, and to gain information from individuals/clients
• Ability to follow established standards and use judgment to determine when appropriate to escalate
• Basic math skills
• Working knowledge of PC; good 10 key skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience; a college degree is a plus. Candidate must meet minimum language requirements in designated second language.
