Job Description
This position is responsible for the development of new Treasury Management business, the expansion of existing business relationships, and the servicing of clients under the direction of management or senior staff members. This position makes phone and email sales calls on a regular basis.
Principal Responsibilities:
Collaborates with management or senior staff members to contact prospective clients to develop new treasury management business, with an emphasis on small and less complex accounts.
Communicates via phone and email with with existing clients to ensure proper servicing of accounts and to expand existing business relationships.
Participates in preparing sales communications, explaining services offered and in recommending of those services which would be of value to the client.
Educates other officers within the organization of the treasury management sales program and works in conjunction with other lines of business to promote the treasury management program.
Assists in the design and ensures the proper installation of treasury management services.
Assists management in the development of a marketing strategy and in the setting of sales objectives.
Assists management in the development of new services or in the modification of existing services.
Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
Job Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience required.
1-3 years relevant experience.
Additional Job Requirements:
Ability to foster and cultivate relationships with internal and external clients.
Ability to acquire and maintain changing product information for all products sold.
Broad knowledge of the industry and an ability to keep informed of trends and developments.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to enhance the organization’s image to prospective clients.
Ability to develop influencing and negotiation skills to present issues in a persuasive manner.
