Department Overview
The Financial Crimes and Fraud Management Group (FC&FMG) is an enterprise-level body that strives to protect TD Bank Group customers, shareholders and employees from financial crimes and fraud. Aligned with TD's strategy and risk appetite, FC&FMG develops and evolves enterprise policies, advanced analytics capabilities and operational efficiencies to improve governance, oversight, and collaboration between fraud management and other control functions within the Bank.
The Claims Department adjudicates customer fraud claims in a fast and efficient manner while providing superior service to our customers and our internal and external business partners. The Fraud Claims Department mandate is to investigate claims from our customers within defined SLA's to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience while maximizing recoveries.
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Fraud Claims & Vendor Management, the Manager, Operational Process Excellence will be accountable for the deployment of Agile and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies supporting and guiding the team in executing LSS process improvement, systems consistency and metric alignment across North America. The manager has overall responsibility for conducting the assessment, prioritization, implementation and the successful completion of projects and initiatives supporting the overall North American Target Operating Model.
Job Requirements
•Being an expert on the Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology (Black Belt certification is required).
•Recommending and leading the planning and execution of process improvement initiatives using the LSS methodology to improve quality and efficiencies
•Strong understanding of the relationship between process, organization and business objectives supported by an understanding of LSS methodology
•Building effective team and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within and across business units ensuring resources are deployed to meet customer needs with consistent quality and service excellence at the lowest costs
•Highly customer focused, taking a balanced approach to the leadership of transformation including process, systems, and performance improvement programs
•Maintaining strong linkages across the organization to ensure appropriate information flow and incorporation of information such as new claims metrics / initiatives, fraud mitigation strategies, fraud trending and product initiatives
•Regular reporting of savings and benefits across business unit
•Flexibility to travel is required for this role
