Overview

Responsibilities
• Assist in the management of portfolio accounts - monitor performance and covenant compliance, complete PD/LGD updates, periodic/annual reviews, process amendments and waiver requests in a timely manner to meet customer expectations, provide performance updates to managers, identify and act on warning signals and participate in portfolio reviews as needed.
• Track new business opportunities and account for weekly updates in support of originations.
• Support evaluation of new transactions, starting with the NDA execution process through to the analysis of financial statements, capital structures, and the business/industry/competitor landscape and support internal deal processes which include performing business, financial and legal diligence.
• Perform client due diligence and support KYC process for new and existing customers.
• Assist with preparation of reports for regulatory and internal informational purposes.
• Support Underwriting and Originations on a daily basis.
• Work on any special projects and task assignments, as per business needs.
• Maintain familiarity with CIT policies, procedures, and underwriting standards.
• Interface with other parts of the business, such as Legal, Operations, Insurance, Capital Markets, Corporate Risk Management, Compliance, Problem Loan Management, Loan & Risk Review, and Internal Audit.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Engineering
• 0-2 years of finance or related work experience.
• Strong ability to analyze data and present recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated with high energy levels; ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Airline/aircraft industry knowledge or aviation finance experience a plus, though not a requirement.
