Minimum Requirements

Minimum Experience: 5 to 7 years job specific experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• 5 to 7 years writing and editing experience in marketing communications, advertising or related area
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional communication, organizational and writing skills
• Experience managing projects and working with deadlines
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment where priorities change quickly
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, management and external contacts
• Ability to work independently
Job Description
Job Summary:
Works directly with lines of business, as well as legal and compliance, in planning, developing and implementing customer communication required for new products, changes in products, and any regulatory communications to customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works independently to develop customer communications required for product roll-outs, updates and regulatory impacts. This includes letters, notices, statement inserts, brochures, website content, scripts and flyers. Ensures that all literature complies with established standards, both in appearance and editorial content.
• Develops customer communication plans based on line of business or compliance requirements. Executes plans for major and minor customer communication activities.
• Creates and manages multiple, simultaneous project plans and schedules, tracking and shepherding projects from beginning to end.
• Performs all assigned duties within compliance and external regulatory requirements related to customer communications.
• Performs editing, proofing, press checks, etc.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
• Performs other related duties as required.
