Responsibilities
• Partners with IT and Technology Vendors to address Mortgage Finance – Warehouse Lending business needs involving process, product or technology changes
• May lead and direct the work of others in a matrix, cross - functional team
• Build strong relationships with both internal clients, business partners and software vendors
• Lead vendor management activities with assigned vendors for the applications owned / supported including, for upgrades, enhancements and implementations
• Manage change control process including running and being an active participant in User Acceptance Testing to support r new code releases
• Apply/Lead consultative approach to assist with functional planning and design, and operational procedural planning and design when implementing application upgrades, enhancements and implementations
• Lead detailed technical and functional business rules and requirements
• Lead Cross team collaboration to ensure projects and operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Create data mapping documentation, process flows, system administration documentation and detailed test cases and scripts for Warehouse Lending applications
• Ensure adherence to published Bank project management methodology, resulting in consistent development and implementation of project components
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Business, MIS) preferred
• 10+ years of business experience in areas including:
• Business Analysis and Project Management
• Management consulting / internal change management
• Product Analysis and/or Product Management
• Process improvement
• Operations Management
• Vendor Management
• 3+ years managing, coaching, mentoring, developing a high-performing team
Previous Banking / Financial Services / Mortgage Industry experience preferred
Previous Warehouse Lending experience preferred
• Experience participating and leading large, complex cross-functional projects
Strong proficiency in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio for reports, analysis and presentations
• Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to coach, develop and mentor a high performing team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills - with ability to present to all levels of the organization
• Ability to influence, develop and establish positive working relationships across the organization
• Proven results driving business analysis, strategy, project management, product management, and/or process improvement initiatives in a corporate environment, with the proven ability to coach, develop and mentor on best practices
• Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills
• Strong proven use of business assessment tools such as current state analysis/needs assessments, feasibility studies, business cases and cost/benefit analysis, etc.
• Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources
• Superior problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
