These services include financial planning, product development, investment advisory, retirement and many other solutions for Morgan Stanley clients. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management channels its vast intellectual capital into every step of a client’s life to best position them to meet his or her future goals.
The WM Intellectual Capital Product Sales Director Team will leverage the resources of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and MS&Co. to sell the following Firm products to its clients:
• Morgan Stanley Managed Products: Firm Discretionary UMA Portfolios, Multi-Manager Funds (internally CGCM), and Equity & Fixed Income SMAs (internally MAPs)
• Morgan Stanley Generated Unit Investment Trusts
Position Summary
• Coordinate sales and marketing efforts within coverage area for relevant products
• Assist financial advisors on business development through book optimization and sales strategies, including identifying opportunities to transition existing clients into relevant products and prospecting new clients
• Travel to branch offices to support and educate financial advisors and clients on the benefits and risks of relevant products. This includes supporting financial advisors in client meetings by discussing goals, investment strategy, research and products within their coverage
• Work across the firm with research, product development, operations, and other teams on sales initiatives, demand assessments, marketing materials, etc.
• Understand and explain the market views of the Global Investment Committee and how each product reflects the views of Wealth Management Investment Resources (WMIR) and MS&Co.
Qualifications
• Series 7, 63, and 65 or Series 7 & 66 required
• 5+ years of experience working with financial products
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, advanced education a plus
• Completion of or progress toward CFA/CIMA is a plus

• Extensive product and market knowledge
• Ability to represent the firm professionally with internal and external contacts
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently
• Willingness to travel extensively through region to present across branches and complexes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and experience with Salesforce a plus
