As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant on the Executive Recruiting team, you will directly impact and shape Capital’s legacy by attracting and hiring a diverse pool of transformational leaders. Based in our Los Angeles or Irvine, CA office, you will leverage your strategic talent insights to diagnose and address leadership needs across the organization by partnering with senior business and HR leaders on search execution and succession planning for highly influential and impactful roles. Your key responsibilities will include each aspect of the talent lifecycle, including client relationship management, search strategy development, candidate identification and engagement, leadership assessment and selection, and succession management.
Key responsibilities include:
•Partnering with senior business leaders and Human Resources Business Partners on role design to effectively articulate the opportunity in a compelling position description
•Creating and executing robust search strategies, including extensive research to map targeted talent pools
•Conducting interviews using a competency based assessment model to draw accurate conclusions about alignment with Capital Group’s leadership framework, technical skills and organizational requirements
•Consulting with hiring managers and other stakeholders throughout the search to provide updates, facilitate candidate debrief discussions and drive to a successful outcome
•Managing relationships with a network of external partners including retained and research based recruiting firms
•Participating in broader HR related projects to impact Capital Group’s people strategy
Qualifications:
•5+ years of progressive experience in executive search, retained search and/or leadership recruiting
•Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in executive search processes, competency based interviewing, exceptional candidate and client management skills, and a sophisticated understanding of compensation practices
•A self-starter with excellent judgment, emotional intelligence and a high degree of integrity
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively deliver important messages across a diverse group of associates and senior leaders
•Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
•A demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and turn information into actionable business insights
•A desire and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and identify opportunities for process improvements
•Bachelor’s degree required
