Experian Partner Solutions provides white label and co-brand solutions for credit education, identity protection, and lead generation. Our clients represent many of the world’s largest consumer brands across a wide range of industries including retail banking, credit card, telecommunications, software, insurance, and affinity marketing. Our solutions directly affect the customer experience of our partners through high value products that are embedded into their core business as well as a-la-carte as a key avenue for revenue generation.
We are looking for a unique salesperson to join an extremely high performing team.
The Sales Director is charged with developing and closing new opportunities with net new partners and strategic expansion across business units within enterprise partners who have multiple lines of business, channels, or business segments. Sales Directors work directly with our inside sales (Market Development) team to identify, prioritize, and execute on acquisition campaigns for new opportunities. The Sales Director has ownership and accountability for the opportunity from first meeting to close. Within the sales cycle, the Sales Director owns the strategy and execution for solution development, competitive differentiation, customer facing proposal and pricing, as well as business terms and contract negotiation.
The ideal candidate will possess a creative approach to selling and vigor not found in many. Experian’s Partner Solutions business is high growth, and successful Sales Directors have proven to be those that listen, build relationships with the client by understanding their business strategy, and are curious enough to risk being wrong.
This is a remote position based anywhere in the United States, with a modest preference to proximity to our primary office locations in Austin, TX and Costa Mesa, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in general business, marketing, psychology, math, or engineering
• 8+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience with individual deal sizes greater than $1M USD per annum.
• Specific experience consultatively selling Software-as-a-Service solutions in financial services and/or listed verticals industry.
• Experience in consumer marketing, online acquisition, and digital marketing is preferred.
• Ability to understand, communicate, and build solutions around modern technology concepts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully relate to people in varying levels across business, operational, and technical roles.
• Ability to establish consultative business relationships with existing and new customers at a senior executive / C-level.
• Clear and demonstrable creative approach to selling.
• Desire to be highly productive as an individual and win as a team.
• Availability for +/-50% business travel.
