Responsibilities
The Auditor will be responsible to perform the audit work assigned and assist the Team Leader and/or Senior with the overall completion of the Planning, Fieldwork, and Reporting phases. The audit reviews will be focused on the Technology and Operational areas of the bank to ensure that the processes and controls are properly designed and working effectively.
Primary Functions
• Conduct interviews and walkthroughs of business processes and applications to obtain a clear understanding of the areas to be assessed.
• Prepared acceptable work papers which record and summarize data of assigned audits.
• Perform control testing to ensure SOX compliance.
• Assist on the follow-up of the action plans and recommendations issued in the audit report.
• Develop good working relationship with clients.
• Contributes with ideas and suggestions to the improvement of the audit methodology.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree is required. Master's degree is preferred. A major in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field(s) is preferred.
• A relevant professional designation (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, CPA etc.) is preferred.
• Familiarity with internal audit, IT, and regulatory standards such as IIA, COBIT, FFIEC, OWASP, etc., is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in IT or Operational audit.
• Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong sense of integrity, curiosity and ability to develop issue identification
• Strong interpersonal and team-oriented skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and change focus as new information becomes available
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Must possess an analytical and innovative spirit and have a positive attitude toward change.
