JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Strategy Analyst role is going to be a transformative and critical role for Cheetah Digital. We are looking for someone who’s “been there, done that” in terms of driving strategy and execution through data and analysis for sales teams and leadership across a large, global business. We have a significant amount of change management to tackle across the globe, sales strategy plays a critical role in crystallizing on new sales policies, comp plans, process for annual planning and forecasting etc. All of this needs to be achieved by thinking global and executing locally.
The ideal candidate should have background and interest in both going deep into the data, getting the hands dirty and then pulling oneself out to think of insights and next steps from the data. One should feel very comfortable working with ambiguity and working across xfn partners and teams across the globe.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with VP, Global Sales Strategy to drive key strategic sales initiatives across the globe such as annual business planning, forecasting etc.
• Work closely on developing right inventive structures and compensation plans in coordination with Finance and other key teams.
• Help drive strategic projects such as territory planning, addressable market, right resource allocation in partnership with regional sales leaders
• Analyze trends around revenue, bookings, forecasting and how resources are allocated across the globe and recommend changes or strategies to optimize.
• Analyze and determine key insights from key business and operational drivers, trends, and metrics. Forecast spend and headcount (short-term and long-term).
• Analyze drivers of business performance, as part of business reviews and ad-hoc projects.
• Develop key performance indicators and competitive insights for use by executive team to manage the business.
• Other ad-hoc projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERRED SKILLS
• BA/BS degree in a field with evidence of quantitative coursework (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, etc), or equivalent practical experience. Min experience 4-6 years.
• Strong analytical skillset; experience in working with large datasets. Candidate must be able to communicate strategically and efficiently, through the use of data to drive not only insights but strong recommendations.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, to work effectively across functions in a collaborative manner.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to successfully navigate and influence stakeholders within a complex business environment.
• Knowledge using Salesforce, SQL, Tableau and other data modelling softwares.
• Ability to work within deadlines with minimal supervision
• Capable of managing multiple projects from start to finish
• Able to resolve unexpected issues and adjust plans accordingly
