POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Vice President, Investor Reporting will report directly to the SVP, Cash & Investor Reporting. He or she will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing policies and procedures as well as reporting for securitized and 3rd party serviced loan portfolios. The AVP will oversee and ensure that all reporting is done in accordance with Servicing, Pooling, and Facility Agreements. He or she will also work closely with the CFO and SVP to develop procedures and establish goals to achieve company objectives, and establish an organizational structure that results in effective operations and sound risk management. The AVP will be involved in the process flow of daily activities to ensure results are achieved by providing guidance and training to the existing personnel and acting as the subject matter expert. He or she will be responsible for fostering strong inter-departmental relationships as communications in the hand-off on accounts is critical to the success of the other business units.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert in designing, developing, and implementing the investor reporting functions for loan portfolio.
• Control, direct and manage the day-to-day reporting, remitting, reconciling, researching and resolution of Servicing portfolio to investors and financing partners.
• Manage compliance with all Investor guidelines and Caliber Home Loans servicing requirements.
• Enforce controls and procedures to ensure departmental functions are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond to changing investor servicing and accounting requirements to ensure that reporting is delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Administer Human Resource functions including staffing, salary planning, fair and consistent implementation of the policies and objectives setting for staff, as well as establishing Key Performance Indicators ("KPIs").
• Direct and lead special projects that contribute to the organization's objectives as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience, including the ability to solve complex problems and understand the related impact on the business, our investors, and external customers within the general framework of corporate, regulatory, and investor policies.
• 3+ years of Investor Reporting experience including: Scheduled/Scheduled, Scheduled/Actual, Actual/Actual, and Third Party/Private MBS reporting experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Expert skills in MS Excel, including the ability to utilize the following functions: V-Lookup, H-Lookup, Concatenating formulas, Conditional formatting, and Pivot Tables.

• Bilingual in English/Spanish helpful.
• Fiserv experience a plus.
