Description:
We are seeking proven, highly-motivated, inside sales professionals to help us generate revenue in our Utah and Idaho markets through direct sales of Zions Bank Treasury Management products.
Job Responsibility:
The Senior Relationship Specialist is an inside sales position tasked with generating revenue by contacting existing and potential new business clients. The primary focus will be to sell merchant services and the necessary ancillary products to help each business with their credit card processing needs. Senior Relationship Specialists are expected to sell by creating win / win solutions for the client and Zions Bank. High performers have the potential to receive inbound sales referrals from marketing efforts.
Job Duties:
The following duties have been identified as crucial to becoming a successful inside sales professional:
• Outbound sales to existing Zions Bank customers
◦ Zions Bank uses a proactive customer interaction strategy which requires calling efforts to engage customers in discussions regarding available merchant services options provided by Zions Bank.
• Pipeline Management
◦ Pipeline management is for sales success. A comprehensive understanding of what should be entered in to a sales pipeline, how to manage / track the different stages of a customer’s buying experience, assurance of client success, and asking satisfied customers for referrals is key to hitting sales numbers.
• Client Success
◦ Understanding that a sale is not over until the client receives the benefit of the sale is very important. Making sure a customer has everything they need to be successful is one of the most rewarding aspects of this role.
• Ongoing communication via email, IM, and phone with internal business partners and customers
◦ Interacting with internal business partners daily helps ensure our customers have an exceptional experience. The expectation is to work collaboratively with all business partners to facilitate the sell, maintain the client’s account, and administer knowledge as needed for future business. Professional use of all communication methods is a must through forums such as outlook, skype, and phone.
• Manage sales goals
◦ Achieving sales goals is part of our culture and environment. A set monthly goal is given to all employees. Management will provide coaching and feedback to aid in achieving sales numbers and goals. Our primary focus is to generate revenue.
• Zions Bank product expert
◦ Successful Senior Relationship Specialists have an in depth understanding of the features and benefits of each product we offer and the ability to recommend our products to the unique situation of each customer. Senior Relationship Specialists are the central hub for merchant knowledge and expertise.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Requires an Associates degree
• 2+ years experience in B2B inbound/outbound call experience, sales experience.
• Must have strong sales background, ability to solve complex problems, consult and communicate best business practices.
• Possess professional written and verbal communication skills
• Responds positively to feedback and coaching.
• Maintains a positive attitude.
• Actively engages in our culture of teamwork and self-improvement.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
