Job Description:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to provide support for multiple concurrent projects to upgrade enterprise systems within the Investments department. The successful candidate for this position will have a good blend of skills between business analysis, project management and technology. This person will be analytical and detail oriented with the ability to multi task and work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
• Working with business clients, subject matter experts and technology staff to map out business processes, application dependencies and overall technology stack
• Document, track, and research project blockers and work with appropriate teams to identify possible resolutions and make recommendations to management
• Work with end users, application development teams, and process owners to gather and document requirements
• Analyze data, generate benchmarks and prepare trend analysis reports
• Review and analyze code, map code logic into visual flowcharts to aid in decision making
• Develop fixes and enhancements, document, coordinate and perform testing and manage deployments per existing standards and policies
Qualifications
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years’ business analysis experience to include identifying business needs and translating them into business, functional, and technical requirements.
• At least four years of experience working with T-SQL.
• Recent experience with Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 or later version required
• Experience working with enterprise level systems preferably in large, 24x7x365, global, highly complex environments. Finance field is preferred
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent initiatives while providing realistic delivery dates and managing client expectations.
• Must have strong process analysis skills
• Must be a quick learner and can easily adopt in an environment with many moving variables
• Demonstrated ability to analyze database objects, stored procedures, triggers
• .NET Programming experience to include ability to analyze applications and processes written in a recent .Net version
• Desktop management experience is a plus
• Windows Server administration experience is a plus
• Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
