Job Summary:
This position will work in our Kemper Dallas office.
Our Claims Instructional Design Specialist will work closely with Claims Technical Trainers, Subject Matter Experts and Business Stakeholders to plan, design, develop, document, and implement new or redesigned training courses using multiple mediums. You will create live-instructor led and distance-learning based training with support materials to include job aids, self-study resources, facilitator guides and practice and learner evaluation tools. Our Instructional Design Specialist will oversee and maintain online training resources, to include the implementation of a new Learning Management System.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education/certifications in instructional design and relevant experience.
• 3 years job-related experience executing all levels of the instructional design process (needs assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation).
• Prefer experience working in a Property & Casualty Claims insurance environment.
• Experience developing for multiple training platforms for a variety of audiences.
• Instructional design required.
• Experience with management platforms and other Web delivery technologies required.
• Experience with industry standard Web development technologies including Dreamweaver, graphics editing programs, HTML, JavaScript, and Flash action script required.
• Experience with object design and SCORM required.
• Practical knowledge in implementation of copyright standards required.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills required.
• Strong technical writing skills required.
