Position Goals:
Partner with the Debt Capital Markets Manager to implement, manage and support the Syndication Loan strategy. Interface directly with partner banks, line of business partners and clients. Serve as a key contributor to the structure of the overall loan syndications activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and provide support to the Debt Capital Markets team.
a. Assist in the creation and implementation of a syndication process and assist in the creation of the appropriate documentation thereto.
b. Interface with Relationship Managers to gather credit and financial information for preparation of the Confidential Information Memorandum and other documentation related to the syndication process.
c. Manage Syndtrak information or other secure database for communication with participants.
d. Assist in the creation of Syndication Strategy Memos to accompany Opportunity Memos and the Credit Decision Summary.
e. Assist in the creation of collateral material to be used externally with Banks, Centers of Influence, internally with Relationship Managers and clients/prospects.
2. Assist with management of individual transactions through the syndication process.
a. Validate information to be distributed to Bank Partners has appropriate approval from client.
b. Manage distribution of information to bank partners to maintain appropriate compliance with internal and external requirements.
c. Assist Manager with management of transaction timeline; working closely with bank partners and internal partners (Loan Ops, Credit, Line Lenders, etc.).
3. Schedule and participate in calls with Debt Capital Markets Manager. Interface with Bank partners, Relationship Managers, Sales Managers and new and existing clients.
4. Utilize bank reporting tools to ensure syndication exposure are properly documented and tracked, and prepare various scheduled management reports.
5. Assist with projects and developing new or refining existing efficiencies and processes as required.
6. Perform analysis and modeling related to clients and prospects for the Debt Capital Markets Group.
7. Prepare documents and other marketing materials to be utilized in client and prospect interactions.
8. Ensure all closing activities are completed in compliance with all company procedures and policies.
9. Ensure that all client transaction files are created and maintained in accordance with department policies and procedures.
10. Remain current with all applicable regulations.

Requirements
Position Requirements:
Education - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, marketing, mathematics, or related field of study.
Experience - One (1) or more years of Credit Analyst, Financial Analyst or related experiences in the financial services.

Preferred Requirements:
MBA
Financial statement review, decision and/or financial modeling experience.
Familiarity with Loan Documentation.
