Essential Functions
The Data Trace Sales Representative is responsible for strategically identifying new business opportunities by leveraging B2B sales relationships and corporate marketing initiatives within the Title and Settlement Service industry business segment. Our Sales Representatives interface with clients using strong consultative solution selling methodology, presentation/demonstration/closing skillsets, and a real understanding of the competitive landscape. Our complete spectrum of title solutions (title data, property data, managed services, and title automation) supports our mission statement of being the Premier Innovator and Leading Provider of Data and Automation to the Title Industry.
Responsibilities:
• Generate net-new business opportunities and maintain/increase revenue of existing client base
• Communicates proactively with and responds in an efficient manner to clients
• Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources
• Assesses individual client needs and develops, presents, and implements a plant to meet those needs.
• Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that opportunities are profitable
• Is highly visible in his/her marketing area by attending industry trade shows and joining association committees
• Educates oneself in all phases of our client’s business to determine the types of services/products and prices/fees to satisfy their needs as well as the company’s objectives
• Effectively creates or adapts and delivers group and individual presentations to customer groups, target customers, cooperating agents and others
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
• Ability to listen to customers and understand their needs/objectives to better respond and provide solutions
• Consultative / Solution selling
• Proven track record of generating new sales
• Demonstrates persistence, tenacity and consistency in pursuing revenues opportunities
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible with the ability to adapt strategy to changing conditions
• Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external threats and opportunities

• Collaborative ability to deliver as an individual as well as part of a cross-functional team.
Typical Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Typical Range of Experience
• 2- 5 years of successful Sales experience in the Title / Settlement Service Industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
