Jon Hendrickson, an established and successful independent financial services advisor with Thrivent Financial, is looking to grow and expand his team with a full-time Office Manager in his Northborough, MA office. Jon Hendrickson takes a customized approach to helping their members by analyzing their current situation, developing in-depth financial programs, and implementing an integrated financial strategy.

Position Summary
The Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice. This includes: overall calendar management – scheduling and confirming of client appointments, preparing for client meetings, transactional service work, all while focusing on the client experience and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, have an eye for detail, and exceptional communication skills. You are also looking for an extended career in the financial services industry. The Office Manager reports to and is employed by Jon Hendrickson. Medical benefits are not provided by Thrivent Financial.
Position Responsibilities/Qualifications
• Demonstrated 3+ yrs office experience desired.
• MA State Insurance License or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire
◦ Growth and development for a candidate who is looking for a long-term career. Potential to increase responsibility by obtaining Securities Registrations (FINRA 7 & 66 or 63/65). This would be a non-selling role.
• Adeptness to quickly learn the client service model (processes, next steps, follow-up) and ability to streamline and create efficiencies.
◦ Assist in the preparation and follow-up for the member/customer meetings
◦ Complete member service and new business forms, document actions taken and ensure processing
• Transactional service work to keep the day-to-day client activity and operations of the practice moving forward
◦ Consistently and accurately document sensitive and confidential communications
• Strong analytical ability – potential to assist with investment research/analysis, and inquiries/reviews from clients.
• Must have strong computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data-base Salesforce (or similar, desired)
• Understanding of our products and services and Thrivent Financial.
