Your paid training program will begin immediately with core concepts and build on your expertise as you progress within the team. You will be one of the dedicated individuals focused on supporting our company’s growth by assisting agents and their back offices with a fast, accurate, and friendly new business experience.
This position will work in a team environment to enter insurance applications, review paperwork for accuracy and completeness, and apply initial premium deposits.
The New Business Specialist processor is accountable for efficient processing of new life insurance and annuity policies. The position is responsible for reviewing the application and forms for completeness and accuracy, completing necessary paperwork to request funds from an outside carrier, issuing new policies, and applying premiums. The ideal candidate will have experience with data entry and processing in a financial or insurance industry.
Requirements
2 years of higher education and 1 year experience in customer service related position, or three years customer service related experience (4 year degree a plus).
Desires to work in a team environment with goal of continuous learning, quality, improvement and service skill development. Customer focused with good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with PC programs and other office equipment. Detail minded with the ability to handle multiple tasks with varying work loads. Ability to prioritize work load to meet service standards based on team's customer service goals. Displays a sense of urgency. Possesses good problem solving and organizational skills. Prior experience in insurance, annuity or financial services processing preferred.
