Description
As a Vendor Review Senior Analyst at Citizens Bank, you’ll enjoy plenty of executive engagement and career growing experiences. We’ll rely on you to facilitate the review of controls implemented by third parties and assess them based on defined policies. Within the wider team, you’ll act both divisionally and cross-divisionally across the entire organization.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of third party vendor controls
• Building positive relationships with business partners
• Translating regulatory risks and communicating effectively to business partners within the organization
• Preparing reports and gaining agreement on potential findings
• Executing quality assurance reviews of peer work papers and reports
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
• 1 - 3 years of current experience in a Regulatory Compliance, Audit, Risk Management or Assurance role, and an understanding of audit, regulations, and risk
• 3 or more years of relevant regulatory compliance and/or audit experience at a large organization (banking experience preferred)
• 1 or more years of experience working with Third Party/Vendor Assurance - industry knowledge of vendor reviews and subject matter expertise in consumer regulations
• The ability to deal with high-level executives and regulatory subject matter experts
• Experience gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways
• Demonstrated advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel roughly 4 weeks annually
Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (preferred)
• Possession or actively pursuit of certifications: Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) (preferred), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
