Private Wealth Management
Client Solutions and Planning Team
SEI Private Wealth Management (PWM) is a business unit of SEI, which delivers an innovative and complete wealth management offering to individuals and families that have a net worth exceeding $10 million. The successful candidate will work directly with the client service team and other planning experts. Solutions include Investment Management, Financial Management and Reporting, Legacy and Estate Planning as well as Aggregated Reporting and Score Carding.
Job Description:
This position requires a highly organized individual who can drive innovation and balance many tasks while still being focused on deadlines. Within the scope of the value proposition and client process, this individual will provide advisory services in the areas of estate planning, wealth transfer, income tax, family governance, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, asset protection, and debt services (Advisory Areas). This role will directly support the sales and service teams.
The position has the following responsibilities:
Partners with relationship managers during the consultative process with clients and prospects.
Focuses on client reviews and analysis in areas of cash flow, insurance, education funding, stock options, asset allocation, charitable planning, business succession, asset protection (P&C/Life), and estate and wealth transfer.
Required to review documents such as Wills, Trusts, corporate governing documents, and others.
Adheres to all planning protocols and procedures.
Address ad hoc planning request.
Frame client analysis presentations in a concise summarized format
Required Skills:
Position Requirements
The successful candidate would demonstrate:
Deep planning expertise in Advisory Areas.
Demonstrated experience to effectively explain complex planning strategies in understandable terms.
A comfort and understanding of relevant wealth management software and platforms.
Ability to work independently and respond to revised priorities/changing environment
Strong problem solver and proven ability to think creatively and seek optimum planning alternatives for clients.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with an ability to efficiently summarize large amount of information
Good technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a high proficiency in Excel
Client-centric skills including excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Finance, Economics or business degree
Minimum 7 years wealth management experience
Series 65; CFP and/or other industry certification
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, SQL, Sharepoint, Dynamics)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
