Reporting to Customer and Employee Experience, responsible for filling multiple roles within a dynamic enterprise change management team. Manage large and small initiatives from inception to implementation in support of Regional Banking or other strategic program initiatives. Provide direct program and project management support including planning, development, and execution. Provide program and project management advisory and support services for strategic initiatives across other bank Program Offices. Lead teams to develop and drive programs to successful completion.
Major Responsibilities:
35% Program Management
• Responsible for leading a program, consisting of multiple projects, as needed, in support of strategic business initiatives.
• Plan and lead the execution of complex, cross-functional implementations or integrations (including Command Centers, issue management, escalation, management communications, KPI tracking and reporting)
• May directly manage multiple projects as needed, including strategy, project plan development, coordination of project team, deliverables, testing, and implementation.
• Manage multiple projects and/or multiple PMs concurrently.
• Develop and maintain complex project plans and manage work according to defined methodologies.
• Direct and advise cross-functional team members in support of project/program objectives.
25%Special Projects
• Proactively identify areas of process improvement that will reduce rework and provide cost savings to the bank.
• Provide direct support and/or liaison activities for other programs and initiatives, including project management, project planning, vendor selection, contracts, and project execution support.
• Investigates and develops resolution of complex business or project issues, including analysis, solution facilitation and development, approval, management communication, and implementation
• Provide testing, simulation or implementation support and coordination as needed, using standard practices to ensure high quality project execution
25% Partner Liaison and Communication
• Develop and deliver management and project-related presentations and communications as needed
• Foster strong collaboration with internal business partners, communicators, and leaders.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop strategic and tactical recommendations
• Assist with staff hiring, interviewing, development, or advisory activities as needed
• Responsible for implementation and/or administration of project governance requirements.
10% Budget and Analytics
• Provide feedback for process improvement, lessons learned, program enhancements, and strategic alignment with business or other programs
• Serve as business Subject Matter Expert as appropriate Perform direct project intervention/turnaround activities for key initiatives. Assist with Sr. Management reporting and support as needed.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of demonstrated mastery and direct work experience in leading and project managing large, complex, and strategic initiatives that cross company business lines.
• Program management experience, including management of multiple projects, multiple program work streams, or multiple PMs in a program office environment.
• Direct experience in business analysis, project leadership, and management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams - through prior management experience with 10+ direct reports and/or project/program management experience.
• Understanding of project life cycles and project management tools, and direct experience with project execution through the complete life cycle.
• Merger and Acquisition integration experience, or large project implementation planning and execution experience, including development and leadership within a complex go-live environment.
• In depth understanding of banking business, including customer strategies, business practices, operations, technology and/or support organizations Communications requirements:

• Ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with absolute precision and clarity
• Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization and externally with vendors
• Ability to prepare and present formal management presentations - comfortable and confident with Sr. Management-level communication

• Ability to provide help and guidance to project team members on matters of communication, including intervention or corrective action as needed

• Excellent personal time management skills
• Requires professional work that includes knowledge of general management principles and practices and a good understanding, use, and application of concepts, theories, principles, practices & terminology relevant to required activities.
• Demonstrates ability to organize well-coordinated and organized programs and/or projects. Prioritizes work, resolves routine conflicts and issues
• Delivers all work product with minimal errors and omissions (e.g., grammar is correct and professional, formatting is clean, key subjects are thought through and addressed appropriately, etc)
