Position Description
SEI Archway is seeking a Vice President to lead sales efforts as part of the Business Development team. The Business Development team is responsible for acquiring new leads, nurturing prospective buyers through a complex sales cycle and converting qualified leads into clients. The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for receiving qualified single and multi-family office leads from the Marketing Team and shepherding these qualified leads through the remaining sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate must have a background in sales or comparable field of study as well as an interest in technology and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary point of contact for qualified leads from assigned geography throughout the lifecycle of the sales process
• Oversee the delivery of marketing content to qualified leads from assigned geography throughout the lifecycle of the sales process
• Lead client-facing software demonstrations (in person and/or via web meeting) of the ATWeb and Veridium products
• Own Non-Disclosure Agreement process with qualified leads from assigned geography
• Own requirements collection and scope evaluation with qualified leads from assigned geography
• Own creation and delivery of initial pricing proposal to qualified leads from assigned geography
• Own creation and delivery of all subsequent pricing proposals to qualified leads from assigned geography
• Own reference check process with qualified leads from assigned geography
• Participate in family office industry groups in a business development capacity
• Attend family office networking events and family office conferences in a business development capacity
• Travel required about 20% of the time
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in general business, accounting, or related field required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in complex software sales required
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office required
• Ability to concisely and accurately discuss the software capabilities and features
• Ability to comprehend and document business processes and workflows
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and investment terminology
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Ability to adapt and prioritize changing project priorities, tasks and timelines
• Rigorous attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure
