Job Description Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of responsibilities within the department including, but not limited to, administrative duties, recruiting, training, employee relations, record keeping, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of one-year Human Resource experience or administrative work required and hospitlaity preferred
• Strong organizational skills, multi-task oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong PC skills required: basic data entry, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher
• Spanish speaking preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Greet and assist all employees and applicants, in the Human Resources office.
• Assist with the employment process including reviewing applications, conducting screening interviews, scheduling of interview and job offers.
• Oversee the new hire on boarding process including new hire paperwork, I9’s, inputting background checks, and other required paperwork.
• Schedule new employees for Orientation.
• General office administration including office supply inventory and ordering, employee file maintenance, typing and other clerical support duties, as needed.
• Maintain all employee files through paper file system and electronic data in Workday, such as, employee records, training tracking, applicant tracking, I9’s, etc.
• Assist in design and layout of employee communications including, bulletin boards, electronic bulletin boards, employee meeting presentations, creating/editing videos, etc.
• Assist with the various committees and project teams, such as Safety Committee, Culture Committee, etc.
• Assist with scheduling of employee exit interviews.
• Assist with preparation and set up of various training classes and employee meetings.
• Assist with maintaining the employee meetings and classes calendar and ensuring meeting room space is requested.
• Maintain central filing for common forms and replenish HR forms inside and outside the office.
• Assist with Benefits administration including open enrollment, employee questions, creating monthly reports and new enrollments.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
• Will perform additional duties as requested by the Director of Human Resources.
ENVIRONMENT:
• Office setting, with overhead lighting and adjustable ventilation.
