The Business Analyst will be accountable for the successful delivery and analysis of a comprehensive range of "best in class" business intelligence and financial reporting to be used for business planning and strategic & tactical decision making.
Candidates should be capable to deal with high level meetings with service line leadership, a fast-paced environment with challenging data sets.
Reporting
• Development and ongoing support of business & financial reporting
• Create interactive dashboards in Tableau for account KPIs and Service Line metrics
• Build complex data models from multiple data systems and source types
• Support ongoing dashboard management and deployment through Tableau Server
• Develop intuitive data visualizations providing Business Intelligence for service line leadership
• Streamline and automate legacy reports and transfer to Tableau
Data Analysis
• Monthly and Quarterly reporting
• Analyze performance data to forecast/trend, savings, efficiency gains, etc.
• Detailed analysis including budget, actual and forecast reporting
• Develop tools to model annual budget planning and forecasting preparation
• Assist service-line leaders to develop reports and insight
Rhythm of Business: Monthly, Quarterly and Ad-hoc reporting
• Run day to day reporting and forecasting activities
• Support team’s efforts to develop efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes while preserving data integrity and improving data consistency
• Development and support of graphs, charts & Power Points for formal/informal and internal/external documents, presentations and reports
• Organize and maintain team data collection, reporting and communication
• Support cost-savings and process improvement initiatives
• Participate in the development and distribution of best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting
• Identify tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned
• Special projects and other functions as required by manager
• Collaborate with team to share and improve technical skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Analytics or equivalent
• Experience in Software Tools: MS Office Products: Strong Tableau Skills to build models, dashboards, and analytics with calculated fields. Excel skills are a plus including Microsoft Power BI Stack, Power Pivot data modeling and, Power View
• 2 to 4 years of experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Python is helpful but not required
