Overview
Mastercard’s Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) develops and delivers world-class risk and security products & services for Mastercard customers across the globe. As part of this organization, the ESS Identity Solutions team leads the creation and delivery of innovation Identity Solutions enabling cardholders to experience simple yet secure purchases however & wherever they chose to transact.
The VP Product Development, Digital Identity will report to the SVP, Digital Identity to address the go to market strategy, business build, market analysis, launch and growth of the Mastercard digital identity service for targeted markets. The candidate will lead the digital identity business for projects / solutions build that are customized to prospect markets. The digital identity service is intended to enable consumers to establish, maintain and use their digital identity data for digital initiative interactions with low friction, high security, and privacy/consent controls.
Role
Act as a business owner and manage strategic initiatives for the digital identity business for multiple projects that may be geographically dispersed.
Drive best practices within the ecosystem stakeholder community through engagement with public and private sector initiatives.
Contribute within the core Identity Solutions team defining the details of the global Mastercard digital identity service including product/platform, service, and governance aspects.
Work within the core team, extended cross discipline support teams along with local/regional teams in the impacted country/region to advance the business.
Contribute to core trust framework service aspects, business/pricing models, unique country (government/regulatory) adaption, ecosystem mapping and partner models.
• Define the go to market strategy for digital identity service launch, and initial pilot opportunities with stakeholders within the globally prioritized targeted markets.
• Drive development of new business opportunities by sourcing new relationships and leading start up activities in targeted markets. Initiate conversations with key decision makers for initial partner participation (Trust Partners, Identity Verification Partners)
• Train, develop and support Regional resources to transition critical roles and long term ownership to local resources
• Develop and present financial modeling and business
• Pro-actively develop employees as organizational resources
All About You
• Strong passion for and experience within the digital identity domain.
• Extensive experience with business strategy and execution in complex and international countries/regions
• Demonstrated track record achieving business targets and building business relationships
Experience translating and applying customer feedback (internal, external) to lead product offering strategies.
Experience setting direction for go-to-market plans and leveraging market insights to differentiate from competitors.
Experience in product marketing and commercialization is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills, project delivery and project management experience working with regional market teams.
Superior communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
Position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel.
