We've made tremendous progress in our digital journey, which includes an award winning digital infrastructure and digital workplace (CIO 100, InformationWeek Elite). We are committed to innovation, and that has already yielded powerful capabilities in the areas of digital client services, data analytics, and AI.
We see a bright future for our tax practice, and we are launching a strategy to transform the practice to be future ready. This includes a fresh re-think on our existing service delivery models and technology tools with an eye towards leveraging emerging digital approaches.
We are seeking a candidate that is passionate about developing deep knowledge of our business, identifying and evaluating emerging technology opportunities, and partnering with our tax leadership to lead change. Come join our award winning technology team and take on a leadership role in supporting our tax practice on this journey.
This leadership role will partner closely with other functional leaders in IT (PMO lead, Change/Communications, Data Analytics, Solution Delivery & Support, and Infrastructure and Operations) and across the firm (HR, Marketing, and Finance). This position is a Director level position and will be part of the IT leadership team, reporting directly to the CIO.
Your role.
• As a member of the IT leadership team, own the strategic business interface with the Tax practice area.
• Partner with Tax practice leadership to co-lead the development and execution of their digital business roadmaps that will align people, process, and technology changes required to meet strategic goals.
• Partner with Tax practice leadership on the research and analysis of emerging technology, market trends, new ventures, and service expansion opportunities. This includes the design and support of repeatable processes that optimize R&D and innovation.
• Develop and maintain strong practice area knowledge about our market, competitors, service delivery models, and business process.
• Lead the design and communication of IT strategies at the practice area level that align with overall firm and IT objectives. Be able to effectively present and communicate these at the executive level as well as across the firm.
• Partner with functional delivery leaders across the firm to facilitate strong cross-functional design and alignment, and to help translate opportunities into executable projects.
• Partner with the PMO organization to monitor and guide a healthy portfolio of strategic initiatives, balanced with continuous improvement projects.
• Evangelize our IT demand management and solution delivery processes, and work with IT Delivery leaders to continually improve our IT processes.
• Own our ITBRM process and capability. Lead the continuous improvement and evolution of this capability to meet strategic firm objectives.
