Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates some knowledge and understanding of:
-mobile, digital marketing / demand generation, user experience, digital payment methods, or digital or ecommerce (B2B and/or B2C)
-digital related technologies and how they impact the overall digital strategy
Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success, as both an individual contributor and team member, with identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; approaching client in an organized manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and, communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
Skills Preferred:
Demonstrates some individual contributor abilities as a member of a project team that include the following:
-Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management;
-Leveraging customer sales knowledge and analytical skills, especially as it relates to project management, project facilitation, and the development of client proposals;
-Researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters, including leveraging the ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
-Proven record of success demonstrating the ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development.
• BFA / BA in Art or Graphic Design or related field
• Knowledge and practice of Agile Methodology
• Understanding of basic Human Centered Design philosophy, comfortable with ambiguity and pushing design methodologies
• A knowledge of best practices and tools used in user-centered interaction design, design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications
• Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Sketch and In Design thorough understanding of graphic design principles, including screen layout, color theory and typography as it applies to the final app and interactions
• Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, and CSS
• Knowledge of how to design for 508 complianance
• Mobile experience (native apps, responsive web design, etc).
• Ability to translate client business requirements, user needs, and technical capabilities into designs that are visually exciting, easy to use, and emotionally engaging
• Experience designing motion graphics with tools such as Adobe After Effects is a major plus
• Candidate must have experience working in a deadline driven environment and must be able to manage workload to meet customer deadlines
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US
• An ability to take an interaction design concept and translate it into production-ready mockups, assets & icons for any platforms including desktop, web and mobile apps
• Working closely with fellow Visual Designers, UX Designers and Front-End Engineers to ensure the solidity of design systems and deliver best-in-class visual designs.
• Helping build and maintain a visual identity
• managing brand consistency across all touch-points in the customer journey through the creation of design specs, standards, style guides, toolkits, and processes.
• Participate in product ideation and conceptual development.
• Create visual designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons.
• Produce design specifications, storyboards, scenarios, and design prototypes.
• Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
• Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that includes creative leads, other designers, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.
• Works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline driven atmosphere
• Developing clean and effective graphic templates and style guides
