JOB SUMMARY
Position to manage business unit that support providing better connectivity and internet supported solutions.
Characteristics of responsible projects:
Complexity: High
Risk: Low
Purpose: Enhance building by building technology uses on behalf of the client
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position supports
• rooftop solutions and low power solutions
• wireless carrier solutions
• wireless public safety solutions
• fiber and power solutions
• IOT solutions and their respective supporting infrastructure solutions. (All in building systems , security, alarming, internet, along with telecommunications, etc... are now connectivity solutions)
Business Development for the Building Technologies Group, team building to grow this group; Recruitment of team members to further enhance this group and its expertise.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversight of team members as this group grows.
• Provides formal technical guidance in area of expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (AA) or higher
Minimum 15 years in technology industry with knowledge of:
• rooftop solutions and low power solutions
• wireless carrier solutions
• wireless public safety solutions
• fiber and power solutions
• IOT solutions and their respective supporting infrastructure solutions.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
None
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
• Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical clients.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
• Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
• Conducts basic financial analysis for growth of business and revenue and management of expenses.
REASONING ABILITY
• Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.
• Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
• Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
• Advanced knowledge of technology industrial specifically as related to uses in real estate.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• The position requires very strong business development skills, customer service skills, negotiation skills and team development skills.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for managing multiple project deadlines at one time.
• Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
