JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Corporate/Financial Systems Managerwill be part of Corporate Systems team in a rapidly growing global leader. The role is multifaceted and functions as primary business consultant with business users across Finance, Accounting, Billing and Audit as well as Corporate Systems team on the project management and implementation of complex/customized/OTS applications and for ensuring quality of enhancements/reports and providing complete production support of application functionality.
Responsibilities include daily functioning of cloud and on-premise applications as well as ongoing system enhancements, bug fixes and support. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of the financial services industry, business acumen as well as application implementation capabilities and experience. Based in the Atlanta, this role requires frequent interaction with Business Leadership, Users, Developers and Consultants, in order to ensure that we deliver a quality finance/corporate systems application to our users. The ideal candidate will have experience with and knowledge of Oracle RMB, Oracle Cloud (Financial modules), PeopleSoft and Sabrix Tax Engine, be well versed in translating business problems into requirements/solutions and communicating with users, functional, technical and production support teams.
Other responsibilities include:
• Re-Design (business process optimizations, system workflows) future state enterprise cloud based solutions
• Understanding current state and recommend business process workflows and system interfaces to garner benefits for overall customers
• Participate in full SDLC methodology for on-going and integration projects
• Gather and Prioritize requirements, engage in business analysis activities and create detailed specifications to be used by development teams
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide complete test coverage of application/enhancement functionality
• Ensure SLA requirements, as defined by Corporate Systems leadership, are met
• Provide reconciled requested data to external auditors, internal auditors or other sanctioned data requests
• Coordinating and reviewing quarterly access reviews. Final review of any access role changes to ensure adequate segregation of duties is maintained
• Communicate project plans, test cases and statuses effectively
• Ability to write and execute intermediate level database queries
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience implementing, leading and managing financial and/or packaged applications
• Bachelor’s degree, with Accounting Background preferred
• Experience desired with Oracle RMB/Oracle Cloud/PeopleSoft applications
• Intermediate Oracle/SQL query skills required
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provide after Hours Production Support as needed
• A high attention to detail and quality
Other Desirable Skills:
• Financial industry experience with Finance and/or accounting knowledge is beneficial
• Experience of working in a multi-currency, global organization
• Liaise with and build an effective relationship both with the global team
• BI Publisher/Tableau experience highly desirable
• Availability to travel as needed
