Description
Zurich is currently looking for a Claims Reporting and Performance Analyst to work out of our North American head-quarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.
What does Claims Finance do?
• We are part of the finance Business Performance & Insights (BPI) team, with our key stakeholder being the Claims team
• The Claims team employs over 3,000 staff and includes many other areas in addition to the Claims Professionals that handle the claims, like Staff Legal, Medical Management, TPA Operations, and Customer Relationship Management
• Key activities include planning, reporting & report development, staffing models, ad-hoc analyses for various areas within Claims

• Support various areas of Claims with in-depth claims data analysis and insights
• Develop, maintain, run and analyze internal reports and scorecards using multiple data sources and tools
• Develop new dashboards and tools with compelling visuals
• Automate reports & look for process-improvement opportunities
• Investigate and analyze trends and root causes with minimal guidance
• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in Claims and Finance
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance and 8 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Accounting or Finance area
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA
• CPA
• CPCU
• CFA
• CTP
• Actuarial Analyst experience if you have stopped taking exams
• Insurance industry experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting or treasury principles
• Project management experience
• General ledger or treasury transactional experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office experience
• Business Objects, SQL, SA or other data handling experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
