The MIS Manager, along with his/her team, will be the primary technical resource within the Commercial Bank. As the MIS Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and/or leading all phases of MIS report projects (design, development, testing and deployment). Responsibilities of this position span from customer data integration and data warehousing to functional data marts and information maps to support business applications including SAS, SQL, the banks CRM platform, dashboards and various analytic platforms.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary architect of the development and maintenance of the commercial banking data warehouse applications, in support of incentive compensation programs, CRM integration initiatives, and the various dashboards and sales tools. Oversight and participation of the development and creation of complex report packages along with continual maintenance and distribution of production report packages. Leads the maintenance and development of enhancements to existing reporting applications and data infrastructure and maintains the meta-data for all applications. While working with cross functional areas throughout the bank the MIS Manager will be responsible for maintaining data integrity for the Commercial Bank and participating in data quality projects, system integrations and upgrades. Demonstrating a solid understanding of the fundamentals of data integration, database management and business intelligence, act as a mentor to fellow analysts.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Other projects and assignments as directed. Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, produce data samples/prototypes and ad hoc reports. Obtain and analyze data by accessing multiple sources, including CRM, SAS and data warehouses. Perform implementation testing, assist in building system models by combining model components and testing the integrity of modeling systems on current and future IT projects.
Provide direct support to performance management team members to help facilitate reconciliation, and report production allowing for accurate and consistent analysis of information. Partner with finance, risk, IT infrastructure and other business partners to facilitate the full life cycle of application development and continuously secure and improve quality data sets for commercial reporting solutions.
As the primary technical resource of the commercial bank, participate in the definition, development, implementation and ongoing management of an MIS platform to support regular, multi-dimensional reporting requirements using detailed datasets. Primary architect of the design of queries & report packages using SQL, SAS, CRM and other appropriate tools; resolve data process issues and make recommendations to management on continuous improvements in data quality and processes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects
• At a minimum, MS Access and MS Excel intermediate user; MS PowerPoint and Word basic user
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to gather and document business requirements
• Hands on experience with relational database query tools, working with complex databases, and writing complicated SQL query code
• Solid working knowledge of relational database concepts, data warehousing and data integrity principles
• Extensive experience in an MIS or reporting function with some supervisory experience. Hands on experience working with complex databases and reporting/query tools
• Knowledge of portfolio management concepts and understanding of the credit management lifecycle, from origination, underwriting, servicing, administration and monitoring
• The ability to work well in a fast paced, detail oriented, deadline driven environment coordinating multiple projects and requests simultaneously
