Director, Global Product Marketing – Digital Payments
Overview
• As part of the Worldwide Marketing & Communications organization, the Global B2B & Product Marketing team is accountable for providing subject matter expertise and product marketing thought leadership across the Mastercard enterprise.
• The Director, Global Product Marketing is a core partner within the Digital Payments & Labs (DP&L) business unit, and will be embedded with the Product & Channels teams to provide holistic product marketing acumen and drive the established GPM vision with internal and external partners globally.
• The Director also plays a critical, central role with the Regional Product Marketing teams to optimize the consistency of positioning and messaging globally. Together with the Regional Teams, the Director will provide strategic guidance on proposed marketing plans, and share globally relevant best practices that efficiently drive consumer awareness, usage and product scale.
• The Director will also develop B2B Sales Enablement tools for internal and external stakeholders to leverage throughout the product commercialization process.

Role
Partner with the Global Product and Channels teams to:
• Manage Mastercard’s marketing relationships and related priorities with global, industry-leading mobile payment providers to drive consumer engagement and share of wallet for Mastercard and issuer customers
• Provide strategic input and proficiency into product marketing plans that support the global roadmap for key mobile providers, including market launch plans and ongoing commercialization activities to drive scale
• Partner with the regional product marketing leads to capture and document success stories to inform the development of best practices and efficiencies for future rollouts.
• Partner with the Product Development & Innovation teams to integrate GPM’s proven practices and disciplines across select businesses. including Mastercard Developers (APIs) IoT and emerging digital payment providers
• Drive sales enablement via new practices and tools that advance content quality and directly improve customer engagement
• Provide knowledge and expertise to meet the evolving needs of the sales, product and account teams
• Steer integration of product solutions and marketing platforms
All About You
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in the payments industry (bank, network, etc.)
• Experience in digital payments solutions and the principles around driving consumer engagement
• Collaborative problem solver, with ability to manage complex projects across global, matrix organizations
• Superior thought leadership and influence management skills, with proven ability to advocate and defend decisions and unpopular positions across all management levels
• Strategic mindset with ability to make quick decisions in challenging, ambiguous situations
• Proficiency in marketing strategy and planning across the consumer lifecycle
• Analytical thinker, capable of identifying trends in consumer behavior and linkages to marketing activities
• Superior written and oral communication skills
