Role Value Proposition:
MetLife’s Digital vision is to accelerate growth and drive value through a focus on customers, world-class capabilities, and a holistic transformation. The selected employee will participate in RPA solution design, configuration and implementation of business process automations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor the robots in the production, pre-production and test environment.
• Liaison with IT and support teams to ensure robots are productive.
• Analyzing changes to the production environment and assessing impact to our robots.
• Monitor and Support planned changes to systems & processes our virtual workforce operate in.
• Solving issues that arise in the day to day running of RPA processes and assisting in the provision of timely responses and solutions as required.
• Validates new RPA processes and objects using documented standards and best practices.
• Validates and tests RPA processes and objects for projects of moderate complexity and scope.
• Prepares validation document for RPA processes and objects used in projects of moderate complexity and scope.
• Participates in post- implementation reviews of both RPA artifact content and process to maximize and share learning.
• Drives the roll-out of process during testing, pre-production and production phases
• Debug production and testing issues; and provide inputs to configuration team.
• May mentor more junior staff
• Reviews RPA artifacts from team and vendor consultants
• Performs related duties as assigned or requested
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
• Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation
• The ability to work with a structured and methodical approach, combined with an enquiring mind.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
• 5+ years of related work experience
Required:
• A basic understanding of business processes. Capable of analyzing a process.
• An enquiring mind, good at problem solving.
• Good inter-personal communication skills – able to explain issues to a support partners and follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
• An understanding of, and a willingness to adhere to, formal change control procedures and disciplines.
• An aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to take a logical route to the source of an error
• Overall understanding of networking principles and Active Directory
• Understanding of Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
• 5+ years of related work experience
Preferred:
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Documenting and tracking issues
