Description:
We are seeking a proven, highly-motivated, inside sales professional to help us grow revenue in our Utah and Idaho markets through direct sales of Zions Bank Retail products.
Job Responsibility:
The Senior Relationship Specialist is an inside sales position tasked with generating new revenue by contacting existing business or retail customers and matching their needs with Zions Bank solutions. Senior Relationship Specialists are expected to sell/refer Home Equity Credit Lines, Mortgage Products, Personal Loans, Auto Loans, Credit Cards, Wealth Management, and Executive Banking.
Job Duties:
The following list of duties have been identified as crucial to becoming a successful inside sales professional:
• Outbound sales to existing Zions Bank customers
◦ Zions Bank uses a proactive customer interaction strategy which requires calling efforts to engage customers in discussions regarding available financial options provided by Zions Bank. These interactions create opportunities to sell products and refer customers to business partners.
• Pipeline Management
◦ Pipeline management is a critical ingredient for sales success. A comprehensive understanding of what should be entered in to a sales pipeline, how to manage the different stages of a customer’s buying experience, assurance of client success, and asking satisfied customers for referrals is key to hitting sales numbers.
• Client Success
◦ Understanding that a sale is not over until the client receives the benefit of the sale is very important. Making sure a customer has everything they need to be successful is one of the most rewarding aspects of this role.
• Ongoing communication via email, IM, and phone with internal business partners and customers
◦ Interacting with internal business partners daily helps ensure our customers have an exceptional experience. Senior Relationship Specialists are not Primary Officers and will often need to discuss customer’s lending needs, application statuses, referrals, and other customer service requests with various business partners throughout the Bank. Additionally, working with customers to gather necessary information for credit applications is required. Professional use of all communication methods is a must.
• Manage sales goals
◦ Achieving sales goals is part of our culture and environment. A set monthly goal is given to all employees. Management will provide coaching and feedback to aid in achieving sales numbers.
• Zions Bank product expert
◦ Successful Senior Relationship Specialists have an in depth understanding of the features and benefits of each product we offer and the ability to recommend our products to the unique situation of each customer.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 2+ years inbound/outbound phone or face to face sales experience
• A proven record of successfully meeting a monthly sales quota
• Associate’s degree
• Must have strong customer service, problem resolution, and both written/verbal communication skills
• Responds positively to feedback and coaching
• Actively engages in our culture of teamwork and self-improvement
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
