Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing for Nasdaq’s Board & Leadership Solutions, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for collaborating and implementing strategic global marketing plans, with a specific focus on lead gen and analytics. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with sales, business head, commercial manager, design, the web team, and other internal departments to take projects from start to finish, and ensure that the team’s objectives are met.
Roles & Responsibilites
• Strong project management skills – ability to interact with all levels of management, sales, product management, client service, marketing, and third parties (i.e. Agency). Able to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Management of Lead Gen programs – Search Marketing, PPC, Account Based Marketing, Digital Advertising, etc. Must be able to track, analyze, turn data into a lead gen story, and make recommendations based on the data.
• Global view – understanding of the global markets and how to leverage marketing plans and specific tactics globally and locally.
• Develop relationships within the business to anticipate client perceptions, manage challenges and maximize on market opportunity.
• Execute the marketing strategy and implementation to support the business and their priorities.
• Creativity/Imagination – bring new thoughts and ideas and apply them to marketing executions.
Other Responsibilities Include
• Demand Generation – Manage the marketing programs (direct marketing, print and online) that drive demand. Drive CRM automation/adaption to track leads and ROI.
• Content/Thought Leadership – Create various forms of content to help position Nasdaq Corporate Solutions as a thought leader including: white papers, reports, infographics, email campaigns, blogs, etc. Analyze and measure the performance to maximize reach and effectiveness.
• Product Launch/Releases – Support the launch of new products and/or releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
• Product Marketing – Update product positioning and messaging that differentiates the business and its products and services in the market.
• Social Media Management – Develop and execute strategies to engage clients on Nasdaq’s social media platforms.
• Sales Enablement – Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the tools that support the sales process.
• Marketing Planning – Support and execute on marketing strategies and track budget.
• Marketing Communications – Produce materials including Web site and advertising copy, sales collateral, letters, presentations, and proposals.
• Market Intelligence – Keep up to speed on the economic buyer, how/why they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on the competition. Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
Experience
4 – 7 years of marketing experience, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with creative marketing professionals, sales teams and business executives in a detail-oriented, organized and dependable way.
Job Skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledgeable in CRM systems, Sales Force, Eloqua/Pardot (or equivalent)
• Excellent writing and communication skills – able to write marketing copy and client-facing communications
• Experience with website analytics, SEO/SEM, landing pages
• Proficiency with social media marketing, knowledge of Sprinklr a plus
• Ability to work well in a team and independently with sound decision-making abilities
• Ability to balance competing business needs by multi-tasking on projects
• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
