The Implementation Consultanthas primary responsibility to work with key clients in providing on-site and remote support for Experian Health products and to exceed client expectations through superior client relationship management, implementation support, and training.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple projects at different stages while making good decisions on an ongoing basis in addition to handling client concerns
• Gathering and documenting requirements
• Performing GAP analysis and defining solutions to gaps
• Analysis and definition of system conversion requirements
• General project management
• Drive QA processes, methodologies, and reporting (creation of test plans, test documents, and test cases)
• Documenting and monitoring defects to resolution
• Subject matter expert for multiple software applications
• Analyze and facilitate resolution of complex issues from internal and external clients
• Effectively communicate with development and technical/customer support staff to resolve issues
• Learn, understand and identify client/customer problems and recognize core issues
• May be involved in triaging client issues occurring in the implementation process to analyze, determine specifications, resources, assignment and resolution
• May be involved in pre-production business analyst activities
Travel up to 25% nationwide
Other Duties as Required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Computer Sciences (or equivalent work experience) required.
• Minimum 5-7 years Project Management experience required
• 5-7 years’ experience with healthcare industry software desired (clinical or finance)
• Experience with pre-authorization/patient access/registration desired
• Presentation and training experience a must
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Special Skills and Knowledge:
• Must possess a strong understanding of the healthcare financial cycle
• Proven track record with successful projects delivered in a timely manner
• Hospital PC management experience
• Hospital/Clinical background a plus
• Proven networking skills required
• PC hardware communications a plus
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS Office, Visio
• Basic understanding of HL7 / ASTM interfaces
• Excellent Documentation skills
