Description
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, this individual will have primary responsibility for conceptualizing and producing Investor presentations used by the Senior Management Team at Wall Street Brokerage conferences and Board Presentations. This individual will be expected to support the building of a world class competitive intelligence function focused on Peer Banks and to assist the Head of Investor Relations with special projects, the development of talking points, earnings documents and Q &A.
• Conceptualize and produce investor presentations to be used by the Head of Investor Relations with Wall Street Investors that support strategic messaging and valuation strategies
• Coordinate and produce Board presentations for the Head of Investor Relations
• Develop and maintain a database of value drivers pertinent to the upward valuation of our company that can be used in investor presentations
• Prepare peer bank review and related data, daily stock analysis, debt ratings information, and line of business information that provides value-added insight for senior management about our peer banks and aspirational peers as well as competitive business practices at the LOB level
• Assist in development of earnings documents
• Responsibility for identification and dissemination of equity analyst reports to senior management
• Handle special research projects as requested by IR Managing Director, CFO, or other senior managers
• Assist the Head of Investor Relations, as requested, with special projects
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in investment banking or finance
• Excellent financial and analytical skills coupled with strong communication skills and the ability to drive creative solutions is a must
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is highly preferred
• Knowledge of fundamentals of financial accounting, strong written and oral communication skills
• Prior experience in coordinating Investor Relation presentations or “Road Shows”
• Project Management experience is preferred
• Knowledge of banking products and functions
Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
• BS in Accounting or Finance
• MBA or advanced degree such as CFA or CPA highly preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday
