JLL’s Corporate Solutions marketing team requires the talents of a leader of Strategic Content Development and Corporate Communications. We seek to hire a professional with impeccably honed content, communication and leadership skills, high energy and an entrepreneurial spirit. This individual must have demonstrated proficiencies in aligning thought leadership content development, marketing value propositions and corporate communication activities and proactively shaping perceptions—as the company seeks to highlight its strengths, differentiate the JLL brand and reinforce its competitive advantage among clients and prospects, shareholders and employees.
The selected candidate must be a collaborative consultant to internal and external constituents, including executive management and product leaders, possessing both executive presence and the confidence to navigate an extensive matrixed organizational structure.
Demonstrated track record of developing, implementing and measuring the impact of innovative, effective communications strategies (internal, executive/business, media relations, social, analyst relations, thought leadership, campaign content) in a dynamic, high growth environment.
• Mentality and stamina of a change agent, ability to leverage communications to advance change.
• Experience in developing and leading corporate and marketing communications for the purpose of driving profitable growth for the business.
• Successful in building a business unit value proposition, brand and reputation.
• Extensive experience working as a trusted and effective counsel to senior executives.
• Strong leadership skills, strong working relationships with marketing leaders.
• Demonstrated capabilities in attracting, building, mentoring and leading high-performing teams.
• Exceptional and effective writing, editing and message development skills that emphasize clear construction, grammar and relevant content (and content types) based on defined personas.
• A vibrant network of media relationships.
• Effective strategic acumen in leveraging and activating research and thought leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of content strategy and digital content curation expertise.
• Proven skills with social media in engaging stakeholders and driving reputation.
Job requirements:
• BA or BS degree in communications/business field required; MBA preferred.
• Content strategy and leadership experience.
• A minimum of 12-15 years of work experience.
• Strong executive presence.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong organizational and influence skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication ability.
• High strategic acumen.
• Ability to work with grace under pressure, addressing the needs of multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Highly collaborative work style.
• Highly motivated and self-directed.
