The Team Leader position is responsible for supporting the Special Loans Supervisor in coaching, developing and supervising employees in all areas of the Special Loans Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists and guides team members within the Special Loans Department
• Reviews various edit reports for Special Loans Department. Ensures root causes or problems are identified and proper action is taken
• Plays a supporting role in training new employees to ensure quality service is provided to the customer and our clients
• Performs QC on Mods, Soldier’s & Sailors, Timely Payment Reward changes, ARM loans, and Escrow Analysis
• Provides Audit information for internal/external agency, state, and/or all other QC Audit requests.
• Setup and maintain payees for the Escrow Department
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on the Escrow Analysis area and report findings/results to supervisor
• Assist in setting up and reviewing the HELOC workstation/loans
• Review and remit vendor and client billing on a monthly basis
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Required three (3) years’ experience in a Special Loans environment or equivalent
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership in behavioral coaching, setting expectations and providing feedback preferred
WORK CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must have the ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary. Some travel may be required.
