Description
NOTE: This position will support a high performing team of Treasury Management Sales Officers throughout the East Tennessee Market. Physical location of analyst will be in Chattanooga, TN.
The Treasury Management Analyst provides sales support for Treasury Management Sales Officers and Relationship Managers in delivering treasury products and services to customers. Has extensive working knowledge of treasury products and delivery systems to enable them to assist sales team with soliciting, implementing and on-going delivery of cash management products. Also assists with problem resolution for customers with complex treasury systems, serving as the primary contact and central service coordinator and information source for these customers after the initial sale. Plays a key role in maintaining a positive and long-term relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction and business retention for the life of the relationship. Proactively reviews account analyses for existing customers for accuracy and to assist in identifying and executing cross-sell opportunities. Is available for outside sales calls to support discussions regarding implementation process, assist with non-complex product demos and to conduct annual treasury reviews.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Provides customer service and problem resolution for all treasury products and services for First Tennessee customers. Serves as the primary contact for customer service after the initial sale for complex treasury relationships. Maintains an extensive working knowledge of products and delivery systems, enabling self to coordinate and/or handle transactions, resolve operational problems, recommend alternative solutions to customers, and respond to customers' questions and requests. Solicits feedback from customers on quality service levels and oversees on-going maintenance. Notifies customers of product updates and enhancements at the request of the RM and/or TMSO. Provides targeted marketing info to customers and prospects at the request of the RM and/or TMSO. Joint calls with RM and/or TMSO to visit on-site with customers for account servicing, problem resolution, product implementations and demonstrations. Identifies sensitive situations within a relationship and escalates appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Exercises independent decision making and elevates customer issues when appropriate. Ensures excellent customer service by responding at all times within appropriate timeframe.
● Assists with managing transaction/operational risk. Assembles and reviews transaction risk reports for accuracy based on knowledge of customer and accounts. Discusses discrepancies with TMSO, RM and/or customer. Accurately and thoroughly completes appropriate sections of product risk documentation and submits to TMSO and RM for signatures and implementation. Monitors and reviews past due analysis reports and informs RMs and/or TMSOs of collection issues to ensure timely receipt of all analysis receivables and minimize past dues.
● Coordinates with the sales team and BSC to conduct the initial implementation Q&A call with the customer. Prepares and provides all agreements, forms and implementation project plans to the customer within the product implementation SLA based on agreed upon new services and requirements. Recommends solutions for customer needs and effectively works with the BSC, Operations and the Sales Teams to onboard customers. Coordinates target dates with customer and BSC for product training. Monitors Product Implementation Tracking System to ensure timely completion of product implementations. Possesses basic sales and extensive product knowledge to support and identify cross-sell opportunities. Participates in outside sales calls to discuss implementation process with new clients and to conduct annual treasury reviews, when appropriate. Prepares marketing information packages and assists with preparation of proposals and presentations for customers and prospects. Assists with the preparation of treasury relationship reviews. Implements and/or provides support for Cash Management Package Products. Inputs and updates treasury pipeline activity for the TMSO in RMS.
● Monitors customer product and pricing accuracy. Proactively reviews account analyses for existing customers for accuracy and resolves discrepancies and errors. Assists with the communication of price adjustments to customers. Possesses thorough understanding of bank product pricing and competitor account analyses in order to complete standard pricing models for new opportunities. Proactively reviews and monitors exception pricing deadlines and completes pricing models and PI forms for pricing approvals and implementations.
Requirements
Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
0-2 years Treasury Services Experience is required; 2 - 4 years of Treasury Services Experience is preferred
